Resilience Society
Empowering communities through mental health support, cancer care, and connection — starting in Cork, Ireland and reaching across cultures and borders.
We believe in a world where no one suffers in silence. Through education, lived experience, and culturally inclusive programs, we are breaking stigma, creating safe spaces, and building resilience, one conversation, one connection, and one community at a time.

🌿 Who We Are
Resilience Society is a community-based organisation founded in Cork, Ireland, created to support people facing emotional, physical, and social challenges, with a special focus on mental health, cancer support, and inclusion.
We are a partnership built from lived experience, compassion, and the belief that no one should face their struggles alone.
Founded by Abdikadir Ibrahim, also known as Brother Kadir, the organization was inspired by personal journeys through mental health difficulties and the loss of his father to cancer, and by the silence that too often surrounds these issues in African and immigrant communities.
At Resilience Society, we believe in the power of community, conversation, and care.
We walk with people through life’s hardest moments and help them rise with hope, dignity, and resilience.
We are listeners. We are healers. We are runners. We are resilient.
